Important Clarification: No “FDA Certificate”

It is very important to understand:
The FDA does NOT issue any “registration certificate” for food facilities or medical devices.
According to official FDA guidance:
  • FDA does not provide certificates for registration
  • Any document labeled “FDA Certificate” is not issued by the FDA
  • Some companies create misleading certificates using FDA logos
As stated by the FDA:
“FDA does not issue device registration certificates.”
Displaying such certificates to imply FDA approval may even be considered misleading or non-compliant.
